About this property

Welcome to Mint House Dallas - Downtown

Mint House Dallas - Downtown is an extended stay hotel and vacation home rental option situated on the 49th and 50th floors of Santander Tower, offering guests panoramic views of the Dallas skyline. The property caters to travelers who appreciate a more apartment-style living experience, with spacious units that include kitchenettes and modern, minimalist interiors. Check-in is managed digitally, without a traditional front desk, which some guests find convenient while others note it can be initially confusing.

The facilities reflect a blend of residential and hotel features, including access to a shared gym within the building. While there is no pool on site, common workspaces and a business center with private booths are available for guests needing quiet places to work. The property is LGBTQ+ friendly, welcoming a diverse range of visitors.

Located at 1601 Elm St, the hotel is positioned in Dallas's commercial core, close to cultural landmarks like the Dallas Museum of Art, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and Klyde Warren Park. Nearby transportation options and proximity to Dallas Love Field and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport make it a practical choice for both leisure and business travelers. The surrounding area includes several other hotels, offering alternatives within walking distance.

Guest feedback highlights the property's clean rooms, impressive city views, and spacious layouts. However, the absence of a traditional concierge or front desk has led to mixed experiences regarding check-in and customer service. Some guests appreciate the no-fuss, tech-forward approach, while others suggest it may require a short adjustment period. Overall, Mint House Dallas - Downtown suits visitors seeking a modern urban stay with a residential feel in the heart of Dallas.

I live only a few miles away, but I love doing weekend staycations at Mint House Dallas. It is a short, easy ride on the DART train, making it very convenient. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, but the highlight is definitely the incredible view of the Dallas skyline from the large windows. The Tuft & Needle mattresses are also very comfortable. Since the hotel is located within Santander Tower, the gym is shared with the residents of Peridot. It is a really well-equipped space, and while it can get busy during peak hours, it is usually completely empty during my 5:00 AM workouts. If you happen to book a smaller room that doesn't have a dedicated work desk, the building’s business center is fantastic. It has a conference room and private work booths that are perfect for getting some remote work done in a quiet environment.

Love this place it’s a little confusing at first because there isn’t like a normal check in like other hotels they all send the information through your email which is easy to understand. I was lost at first but I’ve tried talking with a lady In the hallway which I think was a housekeeper she called someone else to speak with me and it was another housekeeper she was a hair reded lady she was nice and called her supervisor to help me which I understand because they’re housekeepers not front desk.other than that loved my room on the 50th floor great view and it was more spacious than I expected I’ll really come back again.

Very cool place. I just wish they had a pool. Great location, clean, tons of room. The view is spectacular. Our room had a small kitchen. Its the beat place I've stayed in a long time.

We stayed at the mint house for five days while in town for a friend's wedding I would definitely recommend the mint house for anybody who is looking to stay the only reason that I'm going to be giving it 4 stars is because I would really have liked it if their bike rental system worked. Now I understand this is an issue with Zybra not with Kasa or Mint House but it does reflect poorly on them. I had the Zybra app installed and I tried it every single day I was there none of the times did it work to unlock the bikes. But I'm not trying to have this review entirely focused on the negatives, the positives is it's in an absolutely amazing location in St Pete's and it's close enough to some various lime bikes and scooters that you can get around like if you need to get downtown or go on the Pinellas Trail. Also the people that work there are super responsive to the texts and they brought up some things like various items we needed toilet paper and even things that were already in the apartment I was just too stupid to find like coffee Creamer. Well I did initially that the apartment style living is mostly a gimmick, but there were a lot of things that were available that aren't available on a normal hotel room that genuinely did make our stay better so I would say it is a little bit of a gimmick but ultimately I did like that they had like you know a somewhat furnished somewhat apartment style room. So yeah I'm really hoping that the people here see this review and fix whatever's going on with the bike rental system but other than that, I was really happy and I'll definitely be staying here again it's a phenomenal location better than the other places I've stayed in St Pete's. But yeah the Zybra app straight up just does not work whatsoever.

Minthouse Downtown Dalls is a must stay especially if traveling with family. We came back to finish our trip because we like the location and spacious unit better than traditional hotel room. Units and common areas are meticulously clean. Units seem to be all on the 49th or 50th floor beautiful views of the city. Service is top notch. Pick up the phone quickly and we're able to help each time we couldn't figure out our code (user error) Love the no fuss check in and out process all done via messaging. No front desk or traditional hotel services, except room service which we did not use.

1st time here spending with the Mint House. Didn’t really interact with customer service too much but everything has great instructions of how to get access of the hotels, room, and club tower. Recommend to check out the club tower AMAZING VIEWS! Enough towels, bathrooms pretty, and views from room amazing as well!

Very pleasant stay here! Staff was superb. Room was clean, had a great view, comfortable, safe. You need to take two elevators to get there but I didn’t mind that. Great common space to work too. Definitely coming back!

Mint House is located on 2 floors (49th and 50th) of the Santander Tower, which ofc is incredible because you get such pretty views of downtown! There is no front desk for the hotel but you get thorough instructions upon reservation on how to reach the floors and your room. When we arrived on a random Thurs afternoon, we can come across a hotel employee on-site so supposably you can reach someone! (I was not the one who made the reservation.) We booked a 1 king bed room and it was essentially a studio apartment (which makes sense given the nature of the building being commercial and residential). You open the door, there's a narrow hallway with the bathroom, the bedroom with sliding doors, the kitchen, and the living room. The interior and decor was modern and minimalist. It was simple and pretty. You will find your key card for the room hangs on a hook right on the front door when you close it. So you're ready to unpack, settle, and head out for your Dallas adventures!
